“And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”
—Revelation 10:6-7 KJV
Fountainview Academy: Standing on the Promises
The war between Christ and Satan could be described as a bestseller whodunit. Mysteries in Scripture, and even ugly circumstances in our lifetime, don’t always come with a detailed explanation from God. But there are many things God has chosen to make clear.
“The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
—Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV
Sometimes God speaks to human hearts through dreams. He chose to clearly reveal himself through his Son, Jesus, on Earth, to give us hope of redemption and freedom of sin. His gives us spiritual understanding of His character and purposes.
God knows the secrets of our hearts, and all will be revealed in His timing. He brings secret sins to light, and exposes Satan’s deceits. Those who listen to God’s still, small voice keep His law, and share with those around them the faithful God they serve.
“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
—Philippians 4:11-13 KJV
