Mary: Waiting for Redemption

best for last

The bride chose a peach beverage for the reception, shipped in blue bottles and packed in silver crates. At the Gettysburg depot, Judy hurriedly loaded the wagon with brown crates wrapped in silver and blue ribbons, not discovering her mix-up until the wedding guests called for “more of that delicious apple punch!” Judy sent a telegram, describing her mistake to the other company’s manager. He replied: “No problem. Possible peach lemon bubbly as new product. Congratulations to the new couple.”

“When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.”
John 2:9, 10 KJV
