Like an apple tree, Susanna realized she needed a balance of growing and pruning to keep healthy relationships. The trail ahead didn’t seem so dark and rocky as she allowed God’s light to shine through the hopes of her heart.

Susanna left her hat with June and pressed through the crowds to see if any horses she had helped Caleb and Rosita train stood at the starting line.
