Growing up, our family didn’t eat out much. My pizza knowledge consisted of a grocery store kit and an occasional attempt at hand-made crust. During my high school and college years, I discovered Cassano’s® and that other “simple shelter” that sells pizza. Cassano’s® fresh-baked can be a bit greasy, but I can’t resist the salty, crunchy crust combined with tomato and cheese toppings, and it remains a favorite stop when I’m visiting Dayton.
We chose to eat inside because of the heat outside; blessed with cooler evening shadows for the photos.
